Know your accessibility options

The IUB Honors Convocation is at the Indiana University Auditorium, where the main entrance is accessible to everyone.

Accessible parking is available in front of IU Auditorium for cars bearing government-issued accessibility hang tags. Guests without hang tags may find the walk to the Auditorium difficult and are urged to park in the Henderson Garage or Poplars Garage and take the free shuttle to the ceremony.

IU Police Department cadets will be on duty to assist with parking.

If you or someone from your party is in need of accessibility assistance upon arrival to the IU Auditorium, please connect with one of our staff members in a blue blazer in front of the Auditorium.

The Honors Convocation takes place at IU Auditorium, located at 1211 E. Seventh Street, Bloomington, Indiana.

Directions to IU Auditorium

IU Auditorium will open at 1 p.m. We recommend arriving at the building by 1:45 p.m. to allow time for students to join their schools and guests to take their seats. There are no tickets or reserved seats.

The IU Auditorium is wheelchair accessible from its main entrance. A section of the seating area is reserved for audience members who use wheelchairs. They may be joined there by one or more members of their party.

American Sign Language interpreters are onstage at the ceremony. When submitting their RSVPs, Founders Scholars and their guests can request seating near the interpreters.
