Honors Convocation

Indiana University confers upon its most academically distinguished undergraduates the designation of Founders Scholar. These students are honored at an annual event, the IU Bloomington Honors Convocation.  The Honors Convocation will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the IU Auditorium.

Building Dedication

The new Health Science Center in downtown Evansville is a multi-university collaboration between Indiana University, the University of Evansville, and the University of Southern Indiana. A $15 million gift from William and Mary Stone have made this building possible.

The audience at Freshman Induction

Freshman Induction

Freshman Induction is a key component of the first day of Welcome Week. Along with two other important events during a student’s years at IU—the annual IU Bloomington Honors Convocation and Commencement—it is a celebration of academic aspirations and success. The 2018–19 Freshman Induction ceremony will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.
