Office of University Events
The Office of University Events is proudly involved in every moment that defines IU’s institutional identity. Think of our perennial occasions like Commencement and Honors Convocation, or special programs like Board of Trustees meetings, faculty and staff recognitions, building groundbreakings, and dinners. University Events handles each of these events with expert skill and experience, strengthening IU’s dynamic partnerships with state and local communities along the way.
The Office helps all campuses across IU plan, design, and implement these most notable events, including events that fall outside the regular annual calendar. Celebrating IU’s achievements in all facets and directions is the heart of each project. We ensure with deliberate and painstaking planning and coordination that every occasion feels welcoming and safe, and leaves attendees with a visible impact of IU’s legacy.
