The annual Academic Chairpersons Conference provides practical, usable information in a climate of open discussion and collaborative exchange, benefiting academic chairpersons, administrators and faculty from all areas of higher education.
Conference format includes:
New Chair Alliance Workshop (optional), Plenary Sessions and General Session Panels, Interactive Workshops, Best Practice Presentations, Roundtable Discussions, Networking and One-on-One Mentoring.
I enjoyed the ACC and found it to be a very useful forum for professional development. The opportunity to interact with and learn from fellow Chairpersons from a wide variety of institutions is extremely important... I look forward to attending again in the future.
